Up On The Mountain

Here, so quiet. So peacefully serene
where the water runs frothy, chilly, clean
With the breezes blowing, dancing with trees
The flowers blooming adds color to green
Dressing in yellow, lavender and white
Such beauty! at this magnificent site
Here, the world is pure. So lovely and free
Might I not stay? Here I can truly be...
Soon, we shall part. I'll return to the ground
I must fine the people! Embrace their sound!
So embrace their soul, their beauty and youth
To learn from them, Learn their ways and their truths
Retaining the joy as in a fountain
The joy I first found up on the mountain.
