You Know What I Mean?
I feel like dancing up the street!
I feel like making a scene!
Let's go jump-jiving in the heat
You know what I mean?
You know what I need, baby
You know what I mean?
You know how to really turn the heat
You know what I mean?
Let's hit the drums and make a beat
Make people slip and slide and lean
Moshing heads and dancing, grooving feet
You know what I mean?
You know what I need, baby
You know what I mean?
You know how to really turn the heat
You know what I mean?
You know what I need, baby
You know what I mean?
You know how to really turn the heat
You know what I mean?
You can really hit the beat, the street
I think you're really something neat
I like you dancing in the heat
I think you're just what I need
You know what I need, baby
You know what I mean?
You know how to really turn the heat
You know what I mean?
You know what I need, baby
You know what I mean?
You know how to really turn the heat
You know what I mean?
You're just what I need, baby
You know what I mean....

I Told The World I Met A Woman
I told the world I met a woman
I told the sky about her beauty,
And a thousand stars fell to earth
Since they could not compare.
I told the trees about her wit,
And ancient groves bowed in deference
To the wisdom of one so young.
I told the sea about her kindness,
And the incensed surf subsided
'Til it was smooth as a summer pond.
And to the birds I send regrets,
For having heard a voice so sweet
Their songs seemed full of sorrow.
